What is Supperclub.tube?

Supperclub.tube is a restaurant in a decommissioned Victoria Line tube carriage in London, England. And it’s full of history, having first become operational in 1967. It’s stationed at the Walthamstow Pumphouse Museum, which is known for celebrating the history and evolution of transportation. Supperclub.tube opened its doors in 2018 and has been flourishing ever since. This restaurant serves Latin American dishes with the best of the best seasonal British ingredients. You’ll enjoy a six-course tasting menu that changes seasonally. They also have a variety of wines and cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails. General seating costs £67, and a private table is £79. Drinks are an additional price.

The obvious differentiator between Supperclub.tube and other restaurants is the fact that here you’ll be dining in a decommissioned tube carriage. But there are so many other elements that make this restaurant one of the most unusual dining experiences in London.

When to Visit Supperclub.tube

This restaurant is only open three nights a week. You can visit on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. But you can’t just show up! You need a reservation. This is especially important because Supperclub.tube only has one dining time each of those nights. Part of the experience is having a communal dinner. This means all of the guests arrive at the same time, sit at the same time, and eat at the same time. Dinner time at Supperclub.tube is at 7 pm. So if you’re planning a visit, it’s extremely important to book far in advance. Everyone is competing for one dining slot, available only three nights a week! Needless to say, it books up fast.

Dinner in the Sky (Worldwide): If you don’t have a fear of heights, this may be the coolest dining experience we’ve ever encountered. You’re strapped into a seat at a table and then hoisted into the air, where you’ll dangle while enjoying your meal. It’s a great way to view a city from above. 

Mamma Mia! The Party (England): This is one of the top activities on our bucket list. We are a mother-daughter duo OBSESSED with Mamma Mia! And this dinner party is perfect for the fans. Imagine singing your heart out to your favorite Abba tunes while indulging in a delicious meal. It’s dinner theater at its best.

Under (Norway): Under gets its name from being quite literally under the sea. That’s right, at this restaurant in Norway, you can dine amongst the fish.
